Understand the planet before you build on it

Space is an open, global and digital ecosystem for humanity and the planet.

Space exists to create better environments for human life and the planet.

It is not simply an app, company, community, marketplace, or social network. Space is an ecosystem designed to connect people, knowledge, resources, projects and environments so they can work together toward a better future.

Because space is what gives life room to exist.

A better life needs more than time and energy. It needs an environment in which people can live, learn, create, connect and grow.

Space therefore begins with a simple idea:

Create space for better things to exist.

Space defines an ecosystem as an:

Efficient · Connected · Organised System

Efficient — resources and effort are used meaningfully.

Connected — people, knowledge, resources and projects can interact.

Organised — those relationships are structured so they can function.

Space is therefore not simply a collection of people or tools. It is an attempt to create an environment where everything can work together.

Much of modern life is organised around survival through economic systems:

Career → Money → Bills → Survival → Repeat

Space wants to explore another possibility:

Purpose → Contribution → Creation → Community → Flourishing

The goal isn't to reject work, money, markets or existing society.

The goal is to build environments where the economy serves life, rather than life being organised entirely around the economy.
