What a planetary ecosystem actually means

We use the word ecosystem loosely. Here it means something specific: a set of parts whose health depends on the connections between them, not on any single part performing well alone.

A person's learning is bound to their work, their work to their health, their health to their community. Treat any one of them alone and the improvement leaks away.

SPACE exists to hold those connections in one place, so that improving one part strengthens the rest instead of borrowing from them.
